Today’s thought —
Sometimes we can be too bound up with our own thoughts, worries and concerns for ourselves instead of looking at the bigger picture – concern for others.
It is is very easy to become isolated and focused on what is our own business and not spare a thought for reaching out to others -to consider their business as well as our own!
Soon it becomes a downward spiral of closing up ever tighter, inward thinking, isolated and subject to negative, even destructive thoughts and actions.
Everything becomes too hard and we give up because the usual hurdles and challenges become insurmountable.
One way to stay on top of things is to be active in a community of people wanting what we want. A group who are facing similar challenges, a group who can give support when we need it and in turn you support them.
Be willing to share your questions as well as your solutions with your group.
We can all provide assistance in someway, even if it is a simple acknowledgement of a post, reply – just make a connection. You will gain and so will the other party.
Do not expect the group admin to provide all the leadership- just because they are the acknowledged expert we are all following!
Remember, You do not have to be the EXTROVERT in the group to be listened to.
INTROVERTED or shy folk are still able contribute in an online group.
We can ALL ask questions, or make useful comments and help build a group and keep it active and relevant so don’t be too quiet!
